If someone wants to lose weight, I would definitely recommend Healthy for Life Meals.
My weight loss journey started as I sat on my couch around New Year’s eve. My clothes weren't fitting anymore, I had to buy up in both pant and shirt sizes and I was starting to experience chest pains. I had to make a change and decided to start Healthy for Life Meals in January.
I started with my weight on January 7th at 294 pounds. I weighed in every Monday morning and tracked my progress (and I still do). I dropped quite a bit of weight the first 2 weeks which felt great, but the hard work for me was after the initial two weeks. Not eating at night and realizing I don't need as much food as I was taking in was a necessary lifestyle change for me. My weight just 10 weeks later, on March 24, was 243.5. This morning (May 20) I weighed in at 225, down 69 pounds in total, and I feel great about it!
I was on the last loop of my belt and now I have to buy a new belt and smaller clothes. I have more energy, and am able to keep up with my kids again. My wife, coworkers and people at my gym have all said they have noticed my weight loss. It feels great when people make nice comments! It isn't easy to lose weight, especially as you get older. My goal is to run Twin Cities Marathon at 215 and stay under 220 going forward.
If someone wants to lose weight, I would definitely recommend Healthy for Life Meals! The big thing for me is portion control and sticking to 3 meals a day. I used to enjoy late night snacks and they definitely weren't healthy snacks. Healthy For Life Meals made me realize I don't need as much food as I was taking in. The meals are delicious and filling. I am so thankful for the Healthy for Life Meals program!
