Our menus, which follow the guidelines of the American Heart Association, are higher in fruits, vegetables, dairy products and whole grains — and lower in red meat, sodium, saturated fat and added sugar — than the average American diet. Using those guidelines (as well as those of the American Diabetes Association and the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics), our experts have created a variety of sodium-restricted, nutritionally balanced meal plans designed to lower blood pressure and support overall heart health.
